Well if anyone here can please tell what i should be using to catch a few perch through the ice..

I use a small jig with a minnow or wax worm with a small spinning rod. Some guys are using tip-ups with light line.

I sometimes use just a small 5 of diamonds len thompson spoon tipped with a a chunk of minnow or a perch eye..
Trust me it sounds gross but perch eyes works for some reason and works excellent!..
And it stays on the hook
if you decide to use a perch eye ..Make sure the donar fish is dead before taking it out of the fish ..Its out of respect..
