Hi i have old arctic sled panther the sled runs sweet. But is well to look at it what you would call it a Ratsled i like the sled because it never let me down yet.. It does need a snow flap its missing, what im trying to figure out is. What would be material to use for a home made snowmobile snow flap? I looked around to find the original but the prices are crazy,, So im going to try and make one i guess.
Anyone here ever make one and if so whats a good material to use?
any help would be greatly appreciated!
Mark

did you check out dennis kirk for a sled flap? I seen a few on there reasonable price too! but they are a after market stuff though.. But if you want to get down and ratsled dirty i would saY something like a tire cut inhalf and opened up.. Or maybe a semi truck flap??.. something like that heavy rubber stuff!
