Skiroule ski question?

Hello board got a few questions

I bought a interesting old Skiroule Ratsledfroma local scrap dealer
 it aint pretty but im hoping i can make it run again,,

The sled when i got it was burried in scrap pile managed to get it out with out other old sleds falling on top of me ...

Ok it has no seat, lots of rust a bunch of under the hood crud leafs mud dirt and its missing one ski!

But the motor is all there and  its not seized !!and the hood looks ok..

I dont plan on restoriing it perfectly i just want a dirty lil ditch banger for this season hopefully!

Where should i start?

Sounds like a great "RATSLED" /project sled you got there..
Post a pic of it if you can..
Start by cleanin the points and carb ,..

Hi old sled head

If im not correct i think the earlier skiroule sleds had the same style of skis as the Olympique oly skidoos
Im pretty sure the only real difference is the paint color.
It would be easy to find a vintage Skidoo olympique ski to fit
or better yet a pair..
Ya i would go with the Carb and points...
