i'm trying to build a 335 ski doo 69- 70..i got a chassis a cab that needs work and a 335 crank ..i can get a cylinder and piston for 70 bucks i think the 320;s and 299's have the same crank case i'm not sure tho..here are some pics can anyone tell me if this is the newer 335 crank or the 69 -70 335 or is there even a difference..oh and kimpex or windorsa part numbers for seals and crank bearings would be awesome or any other brand partnumbers or dimensions

Hi Mark I can take a stab at this,,I can see any pics though try posting them again,, A cylinder and piston sounds good for 70 bucks but i would ask if the piston new or used? You know when i decide to go buy used parts for anything im working on i like to see it right close up in my hand before i drop the cash!
So i can see the actual condition of the parts ect i look it over extremely well. Why is most time and with some parts and paitence you can get a whole running motor or better yet a wholes sled for a couple hundred bucks. But if you want it to be bullet proof then yes rebuild it from crank seal to head gaskets then you know its done..and done good..Im not 100 percent certain on the 320 and 299 rotax crank shafts but i think you your on the right track pretty sure they are the same..But not certain on the 335 rotax though maybe some other old skidoo dude can chime in and help ya out!
Best of luck and try to post them pics again!

i'm not building it for the ride haha ..first sled i ever rode ..parents had one ..my grandfather bought it new ..its like an old model t or farmall tractor ..not anything you would want to depend on for transpertaion but man what fun to ride...i have an 07 apex but to tell ya the truth i don't know witch i'd rather ride...on a bubble nose at least i can see the trees ..and you never know when your going to have to make the call on a cell to your brother '' hey go fire up the bubble nose and come get me in the woods you can't miss me i'm standing by the tree with the apex hanging out of it '' now that i have kids i want to make sure they get to look threw a yellow windshield ..we do strange things to get threw the winter eh

Every kid should experience looking through the yellow windshield of a bubble nose at least once!
