Elan Skidoo 250 Mikuni VM28 Air Mixture Screw setting?

hi board i have a question i have a older elan 250cc single banger from the late 1980s
It does have a Mikuni VM28 carb on it..I was trying to tune it up so i cleaned the carb
and when doing so after taking the carb apart now i cant not remember
What the lower Side Air Screw mixture was set at or the idle screw?.,..
How many turns out should it be?

For a single cylinder Elan skidoo 247.cc running a 28mm carb on it should be one and half turns out from gently seated or 1.5 out on yer air mix screw.
But for your carbs idle screw is a different setting just set it so that your engine runs fairly smooth with out the clutch engageing at idle. Around 1000 -1100 rpm
