69's had 2 headlights 71's single not sure about 1970. I have a 69' Zephyr 440 single runs like it did 25 years ago, my dad went to Canada when he was a kid to buy from the only other owner. All original no suspension except what little give the boggies had. Max speed was 36mph and that was really pushing it and didn't like being maxed out more than a couple min. I been mixing mine 20:1 like the metal plate on gas tank says to. This sled use to break the trails back in the 80's and 90's just so the new sleds could make the trail lol anything over 1ft unpacked powder and sleds of that time frame would sit wherever they tried to make a new trail. 5 ft track touching the ground(snow) minimum was roughly twice what the newer sleds of those days had. All that power dug a hole to bare ground in about 1.2 seconds then buried while the old 440 single could only break her track loose on Shiney smooth ice and had 2b from dead stop no forward motion and to stear you and up to 4 passengers ALL had to lean into corners with everything you had, dads knee would leave a little trench about 6" deep while his track left a damn near vertical path hahahaha. Turn w out leaning and nothing happened except one ski mite get twisted under the front but always sprang right back after stopping and physically pulling it out. Never been rebuilt or had any modern parts replaced except one toggle switch where the dash caught fire by previous owner. Can't ride anymore these new sleds in such a hurry getting 2 wherever they gotta go and old sleds just piss them off and most shoot monster roost covering sled and me both. Maybe someday 3 foot of powder Will fall over night and we'll break the trails one more time except it'll be my son and I while dad looks down on us with big ole grin, proud...
