I notice on some elans and olys and i imagine some older tnts sleds they came out with plastic caps on the skis spindles on the pivot point why would the make them like this?  To me it seems weak! found quite afew sleds with floppy skis on them! |

They were designed so the cheap nylon bushing would ware out instead of the spindle, but now new bushings are hard to find.

Hi i think the old oly sleds which was just the straight bolt was better!
IU have a few old timers that arent wore out at all still nice tight unlike the plastic crap!
Its just more to play around with and spend cash on I agree with you sledrat
dumb design forsure..
oh well do your best!
