I have no seat on one of my older sleds and want to try and make one?IF you have made one before and it turned out good.. Please let me know what you used ?and how you did it! Whats the best type of foam to use?I REALLY need some ideas.. Im CHEAP so please no 1000 dollar seat recipes lol Something that looks good and works wel IF GOOD ENOUGH FOR Me and my sleds. we are not in it TO WIN A fashion show,, thanks ICEBOOGER!!!

A piece of plywood cut to fit the tunnel , Then cut and shape a chunk of old coach seat sponge, STEP THREE staple a picnic table cloth on her or berlap. i used blue .tarp before it workled ok and water proof.. anything you have to use..And yer good to go!!! And if you double up or better yet layers of the sponge from the old couch
make it thick! thats if you dont have to worry about weight,.,, Your sled will ride like a Caddilac! IT be a will be a joy to CRUIZE around on..

I just built one for my 72 tnt used plywood from home depot foam from local craft store joannes fabrics seat cover fron e bay 85.00 shipping included 85.00 plus 25.00 wood plus35.00 foam very nice seat cost about 150.00 not too bad looks great!

We need pics we need pics Here is a seat I made some years ago for a Polaris colt. It has been used for years and now it's gonna be used on my sons 71 olympic. I made it out of plywood, foam and marine grade vinyl.
