Old Outboard Pressure tanks good or bad?

I have seen a few old outboards on craigslist and on Kijijiji
i noticed some have pressure tanks meaning they have with two lines on on the tank..
And some dont..They sound dangerous would any one here give me the low down on the old style tanks verse the newer style fuel pump
designed outboards?

They are safe as long as they are not all rotted out..

Ever see a metal gas can in the sun? With out a vent?

Its gets under pressure and its not even a pressure tank!
