O ya, and at the twin ports show the wife bought me this. a 1972 Panther 303 wankle, the seat and backrest are in good shape,they're at the appolstery shop   |

Funny story about that wankle. We were walking down the row it was on I spotted it on the trailer the owner said "if your interested ill fire it up" I said sure he fired it up then about 5 other guys came and huddled around it he sat down and I contemplated about while I was thinking the wife peeled out the cash and went and paid him. She told him that if I didn't buy it I'd never hear the end of the whining on the ride home. Gotta love her for that

Well guys havent posted in a while so i'd thought i'd share a few pics. This is a pic of my friends collection of Cats. he's been in the sport since 68, he's got about 15 and they're all runners   Here's my 72 303 at the live on skis show. we put on about 60 miles in 2 days and she ran good, blew one belt and she kept on chuggin  |

i bought another 303 engine a while back, when me and a friend went and picked up a bunch of bravo's. the engine was seized so i brought it to a friend he got it running for me. it had a carbon build up and would not turn. a good 30$ investment, now i'm trying to get my hands on another one that the local high school has.

A Wanky is a Wankel rotary engine. it is a piston free engine, they have a 3 sided lobe on a crank every rotation it creates spark, if you look at some of the other pics on here theres a pic of the engine its big and weird looking, not a speed demon but has good torque. a few well know manufacturers used rotary engines in their sleds back then. they have a complete different sound than anything out there.
