Hello board i have a old vintage 340 Olympique Skidoo im having trouble with. It sat for many years in the shed untill this winter i decided to try and get the old sled going again for the kids to play around the yard on. I have put new gas lines and a new carb kit in it already and even a new chunk of pull rope! But heres the problem this old sled starts fine and seems to idle well. But when i give it gas it will bog alil and only once and while not all the time. So i fiddle with the carb adjustment and it seemed to get better i think., But yet sometimes at take off it bogs all of sudden then picks up again and takes off!! Ya it kinda bogs out of the blue kinda drops off all of a sudden then its ok again. I do notice when on the hard pack snow it seems to be smoother at high speeds i can get it reving out nice and smooth.... But when i hit the powder its wants to bog! But get back on the hard pack it wants to go like stink! Very odd behavior?? Any advice on what it could be ? Im trying to work the bugs out of this sled! It bugging me cause sometimes it runs so good i can just feel the potential in this old sled! Thanks Bob

Howdy there bobsled just a question does your sled have the original carb silencer on it still or any type of carb filter on it?? Because i know if that old rotax is sucking in snow or powder it will cause it to bog and your carb will freeze up too..
Just a thought
