I picked up this 1970 TNT 292 this morning. It was sitting in a barn for the last 30 years with it's original cover on it. There were also a number of other old ski doos. I've already got a few guys breathing down my neck for the good running 292 engine, but it's not for sale! grabbed a 1967 super olympic. I gave the guy a down payment on a gorgeous 1972 TNT 440 that has only 800 miles on it and the original cover. I didn't have enough cash to bring it home today. And the super olympic.

Thanks guys, I have no buyers remorse! I am fixin to put an auxiliary fuel tank on the black dot simply because I don't care to put forth the labor it will take to clean the original one even though it seems to be in nice shape. The price I paid for these will stay between the old farmer and me, but I will say we both got a fair deal, just how I like it!

What type of tank are you gonna put into the black dot? Is the tank in it really that bad? Like so bad a inline fuel filter cant handle? please let us see the tank you are putting in it! thanks KAL

I really don't know how bad the the original tank is, but I wanted to put an auxiliary tank on it so I could work on getting it running without worrying about the fuel aspect. Well...it is running like a champ, however I will be pulling the clutch face off so I can clean up the dogs. I now know the sled is worthy of checking out the original tank, so I will be doing that. Here are a few pics of my auxiliary tank that did not intrude on the sleds integrity at all.
