Another old Doo saved from the scrap yard!

I got a message from a friend Monday about a 71 or 72 292 TNT in a scrap yard, the guy that told him about it said it turned over and felt good when he looked at it last week. I went Tuesday morning to check it out , turned out to be a 1971 292 TNT. Looks like it was stored inside but in a damp place so the chassis is crusty and the engine wouldn't turn over. It was pretty cold but was warm when the other guy looked at it so I hoped it just had a little moisture in the engine. I asked the price and got a good enough price that if the motor was bad I would still be ok. I got it in the garage Saturday afternoon and got the heat going Sunday , it warmed up and the motor was free! A quick check showed it had spark, hooked up a test tank and gave it a shot of premix, it fired once then nothing, checked the plug it was wet with oil I had put in the cylinder and water. After letting it sit a couple hours to dry time for another shot of pre mix pull the rope and it ran till the spray was gone, 4 or 5 more times and it was running on its own, I hope to make a test run tomorrow.
