here's a event I found out about thought I would post it
The upcoming 53RD ANNUAL CANADIAN POWER TOBOGGAN CHAMPIONSHIPS being held on March 7 & 8 promises to be an exciting conclusion to the race season when racers from all over North America go head-to-head on Beausejour’s half-mile ice oval, fighting for the coveted title of Canadian Champion in their respective classes. Hot laps are scheduled for 9:00 a.m. both days with racing slated to get underway on Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 a.m
New this year, CPTC is proud to be featuring Motorcycle Ice Racing as an exhibition event. There will be two classes offered: Ice Bike Pro Open and Ice Bike Semi Pro Open, with a maximum of 16 entries per class.
Stop by the east side of the track to see the future CPTC racers as kids aged 4-12 race on Kitty cat and 120 snowmobiles on both ice and snow. Kids races start Sunday at 10:30.
Admission is $15 per adult with children 12 years and under free. Trackside parking is $25 per vehicle and a Pit Pass is $5. We feature grandstand seating, free parking, heated concessions and washrooms, FM radio monitoring of the track announcer, warm-up buildings, beer garden with a live TV feed of the races, a snow hill for the kids, promo wear booth, an unrestricted view of the race track, and the very best Ice Oval Snowmobile Racing around.
We look forward to seeing all the racers, crews, fans and their families at our upcoming event.
