no prob sled rat thanks for the donor sled its came in handy i got almost enough parts between it and another parts machine i think i can make a 3rd running liquifire. ill post some pictures and maybe a video when i get it out for a ride. gotta do some carb tuning and jetting first |

I took Care of it fer someone when I get a old sled like that i oil the hell outta the jugs Asap and tryed to keep her dry and closed up!
No worries i knew a JD sled man
would want it one day

if u come across any more let me kno. good work preserving those old relics good thing someone does instead of sending them to the crusher.. whats up with moto ski missery?? been checking up on it but havent seen no updates? good luck with ur missery! ha
I just got this one home the other day. looks like ill b moving on to the second generation deeres once im finished with the old first gens..
need a hood and skis for this one. took ski's off for the 76 440 liquifire resurrection and the hood is in poor shape. (belt blew off pieces of hood).. havent tore into it yet so likely will need more then just skis and a hood im sure

The Motoski is on HOLD fer abit bad piston one side and I JUSt busted up my FOOT not long ago sprained it good I BARELY could ice fish THE LOTP 6th Annual ice fishing derby ! Ya i was out hobbling around and stuff on the ice OH well time to RELAX for week or three YA will keep Ya in mind if other DEEREs come up I Think the liquifires are the best but what do I know I ain't JD man  ? Take a break have a beer dude enjoy that sled! |

It's is nice to have a few of the same sleds for part swaps forsure! And those Johndeere sleds are a fast sled for a vintage sled!

sorry to hear about ur foot sled rat and ya the liquifire was like the big dog john deere sled at the time other then the liquidator which there were only 600 ever made so they are almost none existant.. the liquidator came with factory twin pipes but used the same 340 kioritz motor the liquifire did i think they had a lighter skid frame and a large radiator mounted in the hood for cooling also but very similar sleds... john deere liquidator won the I500 race in 1976 from winnipeg to minnesota check it out on u tube pretty neat. heres a old picture i found on the internet

Cool info on the JD sleds nice to know a lil history about them As racing sleds of years past ! from what heard Skiroule was very fast sled in its day too won a lot of racing events and was a sled to contend with  |
