Hello board was wondering if anyone here cam help me with my old Ski-doo blizzard? I got this old sled passed down to me from. a family member and it is still in good shape but doesn't run, I put new fuel in it and tryed to start it no luck it does have a primer but it's not working either. Anyone here point me in the right direction to get it going again? And how do I post a picture here on the board? Thank you Jay

Hi Jay new fuel will only help if you have the three things in order first on the sled.. 1: check to see if its has Spark?...= Pull plugs out and pull it over a few times and look at plugs does it have nice blue spark? 2: CLEAN YOUR CARB OR CARBS PERFECTLY!! >>>and after done cleaning and if it runs not bad or runs odd THEN probly clean em again two more times! 3: CLEAN TANK AND NEW FUEL LINES...OR AT LEAST CHANGE FUEL FILTER AND GET RID OF ANY OLD FUEL AND SLUDGE AND any crap inside the tank, IF ALL THAT IS IN ORDER IT SHOULD RUN... Always try and change the tanks pick up fuel line in the tank and the filter on the end of gas line... One thing i forgot to mention is if your old sled is a points system which is generally before 1975 I would pop the fly wheel and clean and set the points properly.. Some flywheels are easier to pop off with the proper tools ---> A proper fly wheel puller.. some may get away with a Vehicle hamonic balancer type puller i would not recommend or a USE ANY JAW TYPE OF PULLER WITH TWO OR THREE LEGS ON THEM the only fly wheel i know of that uses that is a Anitque briggs motor,,And even then its SCARY,,,
