This is my 1971 Rupp Sprint 44,has a Sno-Jet "396" Yamaha twin engine,a Yamaha windshield,a funky/junky seat with Gorilla tape on it & parts from different year Rupps.I put a measly 26 miles on it this year, even tho snow was quite scarce in our area!!! Heres under the hood. this is my 1970 Rupp Sprint 29,has a Sachs SA290 engine,a 68 Rupp dual drive, short track & 72 rear compartment. This was built in 2009,but just this year,I built a new chassis for it.The seat has 4 year old Gorilla tape on it. Here is the low buck engine. This engine has had PTO side seal replaced, only work done to it,since putting it in,in 2009.The engine vibrates a "bit",but still runs very strong. I was told NOT to run the oil/gas at 50:1,so I went down to 45:1 on some days,40:1 on other days. A Sachs guru, told me 25:1. He said you will blow it up if you run what I run!! It is still running after 6 YEARS!! This is my latest project. Its a 1971 Scorpion Stinger II.It is all stripped down to the bare tunnel now.It will get a Tohatsu TR340-3 engine,Rupp steering & possibly Rupp suspension.
