Just picked this sled up along with a 74 440tnt. Ive checked the compression and it was over 125psi. Used the inline spark tester and it lights up really good but when i remove the plug and ground it it doesnt spark. My buddy told me that the condenser might be no good and the motor is still producing enough voltage for the spark test light but not enought to jump at the end of the plug. Any opionons on this or something else i should check.

Alright ive switched coils, plug wires, points, and spark plugs. Still no spark on the pto side. Spark test loght does show some power but its weak wont jump the plug. I think ive narrowed it down to a defective condenser or a short. I removed the condenser and soldered the two wires together still only a weak light at the test light. Any further ideas?

Ya points are clean. Found a couple condensors and put them in fired up right away. Then it flooded and back fired sombad the pipe blew right off. Need to have a look at adjusting the carb and double check the timing.
